For sale is a NOS, new in the box, never used 86-2640 Superior chrome steering wheel installation kit. The catalog says it fits 1960 and 1961 Porsche, VW, and Kharman Ghias. This kit allows you to mount an aftermarket, three hole custom steering wheel, Grant or Superior, and others on your vehicle and with provisions for your horn function. This is the kit everyone is looking for, an old school chrome on chrome unit that has a chrome horn button and a chrome steering post cover. This unit has been discontinued and is no longer available from the factory in chrome. The box is in perfect as are the parts but the kit on the inside are ten on a ten scale. It comes with instructions, all the hardware is complete as verified by my journal. I cleaned and then polished the steering post cover with Smith Brite, and included a new in the bag chrome horn button, so all the parts are shining and ready to install.
